For each $8 bracelet purchased, $4 goes to an awesome family at my church that is adopting a child from Ethiopia and $4 goes directly to an the artisan in Haiti that made your bracelet with the Apparent Project. Apparent Project is a non profit organization working with the poor in Haiti by providing jobs through creative means. Apparent Jewelry is made partially out of recycled paper from the slums and tent cities of Haiti. Our church actually donated cereal boxes to help provide materials for the beads. If there is a particular bracelet you want make sure to put a comment by the picture in my facebook album. (tricia nicol reynolds) and then click on "buy now" to purchase your bracelet. $8 if you are able to pick it up from me and $9 if you need it shipped to you. We will only have the bracelets until July 4th and then we will have to send the ones not sold back to Haiti. Thanks so much for your support!
(The bracelet pictured was made by Olitha. Olitha lost the father of her children in the earthquake. She is now a single mother of a three year old and brand new baby. She is currently living in a tent and is trying to save money to get into a house and pay for her oldest to go to school someday.
